Hi everyone, does anyone here have a Polaris Xpedition or have had some time in them? I am about to pull the trigger on one and just wonder how they are compared to the defender. I have an 18 HD8 that I love and will keep but I wanted something more sporty and comfortable that is a 5 seater (I have 3 kids). This is pretty much my only option. I am looking at an ultimate so no heat and ac which is fine with me ( may add heat). Just would love someone’s opinion who has had a defender too. Thanks! Joe

I do work on "stuff" and Can Am has plenty of problems as do all SxS manufacturers.

everyone ive talked to that test drove or has been in one, says they are very loud inside vs defender with a cab.
maybe a pioneer 1000-5 or something might fit your bill? 3 kids is tough, need a full rear bench or two machines to carry everyone

Yeah man it’s a real dilemma haha. Checked out the honda pioneer and the price tag was about the only thing I liked about it. definitely a tough deal with 3 kids thats for sure. i have 1 now, second on the way in May and a dog to take with haha, gonna be wild in the back seat.
My wife is in back so she can reach over to mess with the little one below, that seemed to work decent this past summer.

What about the new HD11? Wouldn’t that fit the kids and AC/ Heat!
For sure but I want something sportier, I’m keeping my defender so don’t need 2 of them.
Ended up getting it. It’s def loud and I don’t like the way it’s clutched. Runs at way too high of rpm’s. But it’s really comfortable and a lot of fun when you open it up, the suspension is awesome. Gonna add a clutch kit and some sound deadening and should be set. Just figured I’d share.
