Primary clutch problem

Hopefully someone can help.
Was in process of changing primary and secondary clutch, secondary came off easy, primary semi struggle but done. Installed secondary and moved on to primary.
Now the center bolt you use to tighten up went all the way in and stopped just shy of 1 or 2 more turns to be flush....now the issue is I can't tighten or loosen the bolt, it literally is turning the tapered shaft the clutch slides in no matter what I do. Does anyone have a suggestion. Everytime I think it's holding it breaks free and spins inside itself..and even worse when I try and loosen it up...threads and everything where fine..sprayed everything out and cleaned before I started

might have to try to hit it on tighter so it doesnt spin on the shaft with a rubber mallet or something. then get a clutch holder tool to get a good grip while trying to get the bolt back out.

impact it and see if you can get it to hit fast enough to get it to release.
